The 23d International exhibition «Amusement Rides and Entertainment Equipment RAAPA EXPO – 2021»
From March 30 to April 01, 2021, the 23rd International Exhibition "Amusement Rides and Entertainment Equipment RAAPA EXPO-2021" was held in Pavilion 57 at VDNH in Moscow.

More than 100 companies from Russia, Belarus, Italy, Canada, China, Turkey were presented at the exhibition. The main directions of the modern amusement industry are park rides, slot machines and simulators, virtual reality attractions, playgrounds and sports grounds, shooting galleries, rope parks, access control devices, automation systems, water parks, vending equipment, vending and prize machines, entertainment complexes design services.
The following companies participated in the exhibition for the first time: WARPOINT, Mastergrad, Master Leko, Prometal, Plastron & Co, Technopark "Aira", Milkymoon's, Kindermatic, TEDEX (technical certification).
Virtual (VR) and augmented (AR) reality technologies are one of the main trends in the modern amusement industry, so it is not surprising that it was reflected at the exhibition. Among the exhibitors, one can single out the company from Yekaterinburg WARPOINT, which presented a new generation of virtual reality at its booth! A virtual reality arena where players fight in a team-on-team format, a modern analogue of paintball or laser tag.
For the second time, the non-core company Northern Press took part in the exhibition, which presented a new modification of the PARACHUTIST attraction - a simulator of a full cycle of stages of a parachute jump, simulating the physical sensations of flying in virtual space.
Kiddie and sports grounds every year occupy an increasing area of the exhibition. The trend for outdoor activities is confirmed by many manufacturers - AVIRA Group of Companies, EURO MAF, OtADoYa, New Horizons, Zhejang Lejian Amusement Toys Co, Technopark "Aira".
Kiddie playgrounds and outdoor furniture made of acacia wood, which is known along with oak as the highest quality wood, was presented by Robinia Bohemia company.
According to the reviews of the majority of participants, the effect of the exhibition exceeded all expectations.
Over three days, the exhibition was attended by more than 2,000 specialists: managers and top managers of amusement parks, FECs, water parks, representatives of cities’ and regions’ administrations, developers and investors, owners and directors of resort houses, hotels, resorts, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of entertainment equipment, individual entrepreneurs, media representatives and other parties of concern.
Traditionally, the exhibition was accompanied by a business program. More than 150 specialists from Russia and the CIS countries took part in various events. Trainings and master classes were conducted by leading Russian and foreign experts in the amusement industry. The main attention was paid to topical issues of investment in the amusement industry, the operation of enterprises in pandemic conditions, and the risks amusement rides operation. The conference "Modern ways of development of parks of culture and leisure" was successfully held.
In addition to the exposition and the business program, the exhibition was remembered for the presentation of the annual international award “Golden Pony Moscow 2021” (the founder is the Facto Edizioni publishing house, Italy).
Mrs. Luisa Dal Bianco opened the awarding ceremony online with a welcoming speech from the Facto Edizioni publishing house.

Over the years of its existence, RAAPA EXPO has become not just an event where domestic and foreign manufacturers present their products and services; the exhibition remains a unique business platform where the exchange of experience between industry professionals takes place, new ideas and projects are born that contribute to the development and improvement of the leisure sector in our country.
