The results of the RAAPA EXPO Autumn – 2019

The 13th Moscow International Exhibition «Amusement rides and entertainment equipment RAAPA EXPO AUTUMN-2019»

From October 2 to October 4,  2019 the 13th  Moscow international exhibition  “Amusement rides and entertainment equipment  RAAPA EXPO AUTUMN-2019” was successfully held in pavilion 75 at VDNH in Moscow.

The exhibition organizer is - Russian Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (RAAPA). General sponsor – “Pax-Design” company; general information partner – “Amusement industry catalogue” magazine ; information partner  –“Attractions and Entertainments” magazine; Internet partner –vtorio.com portal.

The exhibition was attended by about 100 companies from Russia, Belarus, Italy, China and Turkey. The theme of the exposition covered the main areas of the modern amusement industry: park attractions, virtual reality, game simulators, rope parks, climbing walls, slot machines, equipment for  kiddie and sports grounds, shooting galleries, trampolines, thematic design, access control devices, automation systems, water parks, vending equipment, vending and prize-winning machines, design services for amusement  parks, water parks and family entertainment centers, personnel training, organization of festive events, amusement rides certification, etc.

Among the regular exhibitors  there were such well-known companies as: Italpark, Polin Waterparks, Eastern European Company, Las Vegas, RIF, Avira, RAZAP, Antonio Zamperla, Air Palace, Airmir, Ironcut, Sparta, Bolid, Volgograd attractions and others.

11 companies participated in RAAPA EXPO AUTUMN  for the first time.

Of the new products presented at the exhibition one can distinguish: a new attraction of virtual reality from the company “Tochka Rosta”; upside down house of "Wonderland Park" company; kiddie playgrounds produced by "Krasiviy Gorod" (St. Petersburg); interactive sports simulators and obstacle courses for low rooms from "GoPark"  company. Crocheted parks and labyrinths became the trend of the exhibition. This  equipment was presented by the companies: “In the Cocoon”, “Uley” and “Las Vegas”. The latter also presented an automated control system for activity parks.

Over three days the exhibition was visited by more than 1500 specialists - owners and managers of amusement parks,  family entertainment centers, water parks, cinemas, sanatoriums, resort complexes, representatives of city administrations and authorities, event agencies, individual entrepreneurs and other parties of concern.

The exhibition was accompanied by a comprehensive business program. Leading experts in the entertainment business held a number of educational events on topical issues: business trainings “Amusement park and indoor entertainment centres operations management” (moderated by Taras Buryak and Oleg Tagirov) and “Ways to improve the operational performance of a family entertainment centre. Modern tools and techniques”(moderated by Pavel Timets and Pavel Kovsharov); master class “MARKETING & EVENT, as amusement parks development drivers” (moderator - Alexey Tarasov); Seminar " The new life of your entertainment center" (moderator - Lyudmila Kiselyova).

The conference "Entertainment business in the new economic conditions"   gathered a  large number of participants. The central report was a speech by the mayor of Lipetsk, Evgenia  Uvarkina, who presented a program for the development of parks in her city. The head of the city also held a number of meetings and negotiations at the exhibition.

Amusement rides safety issues were considered at the seminar: “Trampolines and Inflatable equipment safety”.

Relevant legal issues were discussed at the seminar “Legal and illegal amusement rides supervision - how to protect your business” (moderator - Vladimir Gnezdilov).

Traditionally, during  the days of the autumn exhibition, the RAAPA Education Center held classes on the safe and efficient amusement rides operation (September 30 - October 4). 50 specialists from 25 cities of Russia took part in them.

In total, more than 300 specialists from Russia and the CIS countries attended the events of the RAAPA EXPO AUTUMN-2019 business program.

The results of the RAAPA EXPO AUTUMN-2019 once again confirmed its relevance and demand among professionals  of the amusement  industry. For many leisure companies, autumn is the best time to plan work for the next season, purchase equipment and launch new projects. Therefore, it is obvious that the autumn exhibition will continue to develop, attracting the attention of new exhibitors and partners.
