9th International Summer Forum of amusement industry specialists
From July 14 to July 16 Rostov-on-Don will be held the 9th International Summer Forum of amusement industry specialists.
This year Rostov-on-Don will be the meeting place for the leading specialists of amusement and leisure industry of Russia to discuss the development perspectives of parks and entertainments centers.
The Southern Capital of the country will take the second attempt (last year the forum was cancelled because of corona virus) to host the 9th International Summer Forum of amusement industry specialists held on annual basis by the Russian Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (RAAPA).
Among the objectives of the event: exchange of experience among professionals of the cultural and leisure industry, discussion of topical issues of the modern park and entertainment sector, acquaintance of specialists with new technologies of the global amusement industry, attracting investors' attention to the tourism potential of various cities and regions.
The forum will be attended by managers and specialists of parks, entertainment centers, water parks, health-and-spa resorts, cultural institutions, representatives of city administrations and public organizations, manufacturers and suppliers of rides and attraction equipment and other interested parties. Over 100 participants from all over Russia are expected to arrive.
The program of the forum includes visits to the best parks and entertainment complexes of Rostov-on-Don, meetings with the leaders of these enterprises, educational events, excursions and acquaintance with the main sights of the city.
In course of the business program, such issues as the development of parks and recreation areas, the choice of optimal entertainment formats for FECs, the safety of amusement rides and other relevant topics will be considered. Leading experts will talk about the latest trends and innovations in the amusement sector. One of the central topics will be the discussion of crisis exit ways for the cultural and leisure industry after the pandemic.
Currently, RAAPA Summer Meeting is one of the largest business forums for professionals in the amusement industry. The event will be held with the support of Rostov-on-Don City Administration.
