The Chelyabinsk administration presented the final design of the Gagarin park. It can be implemented on the basis of a municipal-private partnership, since the city budget has limitations. This was reported by the press service of the administration of the South Ural capital.

“The concept is developed around the idea of a “park of impressions ”, year-round all-season use of the territory by residents and guests of the city of all ages, and also it takes into account the interests of people with limited mobility and people with disabilities,” the press service noted.

The park plans to renew the entrance area, which should be convenient for low-mobility groups, well-lit, safe, with well-organized parking lots, etc. In addition, there will be an amusement rides area, kiddie play zone, a sports ground, as well as restful spots for quiet pace walks.

There will also be created a zone of knowledge, which will be partially located in the forest part of the park. A festival zone will appear for celebrations. A catering zone will be developed as a gastro zone, and a zoo area will connect the territory of the park with the Chelyabinsk zoo.
