Up to 800 million rubles of investment will be attracted to develop the infrastructure of two geoparks in Bashkiria.

It is planned to attract up to 800 million rubles of investments for the development of the infrastructure of two geoparks "Yangan-Tau" and "Toratau". It is assumed that about 40 new facilities will be created.

As part of the World Folkloriad, which will be held in Bashkiria in 2021, it is planned to create three ethnic villages: Caravanserai, Tash-asty and Shikhan. The regional government plans to create a complex of facilities within the boundaries of geoparks and adjacent territories.

The “Yangan-Tau” Geopark was the first in Russia and the CIS to enter the UNESCO World Network.
