A water interactive complex will be built in the Volgograd park

The construction of an interactive water complex has been started in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure of the city of Volgograd. It is planned to place a reservoir with an area of ​​850 sq. m and a water channel of 110 meters on its territory. Along the coast there will be a beach area with sun loungers for vacationers.

According to the press service of the mayor's office, the water interactive complex will have playgrounds and attractions for different ages - water slides, pools, fountains and others.

In addition to water activities, visitors will be able to visit the mirror and laser labyrinths, “the Black Hole” attraction and experience a VR attraction.

Earlier, a large-scale planting of green spaces was completed here. In total, since 2017, more than one and a half thousand large trees, 20 thousand shrubs, perennial flowers and grasses have been planted in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure, and over 30 thousand meters of irrigation water supply have been laid.

In 2014–2020, about 900 improvement projects were implemented in the Volgograd Region. The total amount of financing during this time exceeded 7.1 billion rubles.
