An amusement park for 2.5 billion will appear in Rostov-on-Don

The other day in Rostov-on-Don, a meeting of the City Duma was held, where they discussed the prospects for the development of the city's park economy.

The head of the Rostov-on-Don city administration Alexei Logvinenko said that an amusement park will be built on the left bank of the Don. The construction is financed by an investor, the total investment is estimated at 2.5 billion rubles. Commissioning of the facility is scheduled for November 2022.

"Last year, an interactive fountain was built in the Levoberezhny park, and a water park is under construction. Thanks to business, we will have a modern amusement park", says Logvinenko.

In addition, at the meeting, they said that more than 400 million rubles had been allocated for the development of parks in Rostov-on-Don. In 2021-2022, the following projects will be implemented:

• in the park on May 1, a pedestrian zone will be improved;
• a sports ground will be built in the N. Ostrovsky park;
• improvement of public space in the park named  after M. Gorky and the "Friendship" park.

Also this year, a draft of a unified long-term park management strategy until 2030 was developed.
