Moscow has no plans to re-impose coronavirus restrictions

Moscow authorities are not going to reimpose lockdown measures due to the coronavirus, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said on July 23 in an interview to Rossiya 24 channel.

The official described the situation as «quite calm and positively stable», stressing that nevertheless certain precautions must be taken.

Since July 1, the number of new cases in Moscow has remained at a low level. The city recorded 608 new cases of COVID-19 as per July 23.
